The creation of Akins Trailer Sales stems from the need for a quality built living quarter horse trailer at entry and mid-level pricing. After searching the market place it was decided Bison Coach, based out of Milford, Indiana, would be the best fit. Bison Trailers has combined years of RV manufacturing experience to produce a living quarter horse trailer that is both affordable and innovative for the equine enthusiast.
Recently, we have found another greate manufacturer Logan Coach. We are please to now offer their horse trailers alongside our current line-up. Since 1985 Logan Coach has been building trailers in Logan, Utah and is one of the only manufacturers to produce a full line of living quarter packages, all designed and installed in-house.
Thad Akins is the sole owner of Akins Trailers Sales. Mr. Akins has 16 years of competitive experience in the equine world including 8 in the professional ranks of rodeo. Mr. Akins has won numerous awards including:
